Muscle massage
What is muscle massage or massage?
Muscle massage, which is also commonly known as massage, is a series of techniques that cause a reduction in intense and prolonged muscle contractions, cause perfusion movement in the capillaries and critical blood vessels of arterial blood and lymph, resulting in the elimination of physical fatigue and psychosomatic tensions, detoxification, enhancement and acceleration of improvement of muscle diseases and injuries, improvement of the body's physical defense, stimulation and rejuvenation.

The word massage seems to come from the Greek verb "masso" ("matto" in the Attic dialect), which means "kneading with hands", from which the French word "massage" appears to have originated.
Massage can be combined with other techniques, such as Shiatsu, reflexology, cupping glass techniques, Reiki and bioenergy, as well as the use of essential oils and herbal extracts, for even better and faster results.
Muscle massage is not recommended for people who receive anticoagulant treatment or have a low platelet count, as it can cause bleeding or bruising and other conditions related to the cardiovascular system. Furthermore, it should not be applied to areas over tumors, clots or prosthetic parts.
